NCSE CSI TOOLS 2026 — END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT
Version: NCSE-EULA-V1.3.4R
1. ACCEPTANCE
By selecting “I accept” and continuing, installing, activating or using the software, you agree to this End User Licence Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, do not use the software.
2. LICENCE GRANT
Subject to payment, the licence period, permitted products, authorised devices and enabled tools recorded by NCSE's licensing service, NCSE grants the named customer a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software for its internal engineering work.
3. ACCOUNT AND DEVICE RESTRICTIONS
The licence may be limited to a named customer, computer, installation, period, SAP2000 tools, ETABS tools and/or individual functions. A licence key, activation, machine code or entitlement must not be shared, published, sold, leased, transferred or used to enable an unauthorised person or device.
4. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Except where a restriction is not enforceable under mandatory applicable law, you must not copy or distribute the software; provide it to third parties; resell, rent, sublicense or commercially host it; remove ownership notices; bypass or interfere with activation or licence controls; use another customer's credentials; modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it; derive or distribute source code; or create or distribute a competing or derivative product from protected portions of the software.
5. OWNERSHIP
The software, interface, workflows, code, documentation, graphics, trade names and all associated intellectual-property rights remain the property of NCSE and/or their respective owners. No ownership is transferred by this EULA.
6. UPDATES AND ONLINE VALIDATION
The software may require an internet connection to validate licence status, dates, device authorisation and tool entitlements. Access may be refused when validation cannot be completed, the licence has expired, the device is unauthorised, or tampering is detected. NCSE may update, suspend or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and any written commercial terms.
7. ENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITY AND WARRANTY
The Engineering Disclaimer displayed with this EULA forms part of this agreement. The software is supplied “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. You must independently validate all engineering results and maintain model backups.
8. TERMINATION AND REMEDIES
This licence terminates automatically upon material breach, expiry or revocation. On termination you must stop using and delete all unauthorised copies. Unauthorised copying, sharing, distribution, resale, reverse engineering, decompilation, circumvention or other infringement may expose the responsible person or organisation to licence termination, injunctive relief, recovery of losses, damages and legal costs, and civil or criminal penalties under applicable law.
9. PRIVACY AND TELEMETRY
Licence validation transmits an installation identifier, a device token, a one-way machine fingerprint, the computer name and the application version; licence and trial requests also send the name, e-mail address and company you enter, and the optional trial survey sends your answers. The NCSE privacy notice at https://ncse2000.com/privacy.html describes what is stored, why, for how long, where it is hosted and how to exercise your rights. Unless you switch off "Share anonymous usage statistics" (Help & Licence menu), the licence check also sends counts of how often each tool was opened, completed, cancelled or failed, with the program, edition and version — never model data, file names, dimensions or results. Diagnostic logs are written only on your computer (%LocalAppData%\NCSE\logs) and are never sent automatically.
10. GENERAL
This EULA is the complete software-use agreement unless a signed commercial agreement states otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. Governing law, courts, customer identity, pricing, support and refund terms should be stated in the final commercial order or licence certificate.
LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED BEFORE RELEASE
This development text is a practical software notice, not legal advice. NCSE should have the final EULA, privacy notice and sales terms reviewed by a lawyer qualified in the intended sales jurisdictions before commercial distribution.
