Usage counts never include model data, file names, dimensions or results. Switching sharing off deletes the counts not yet sent from your computer.

The software does not send your SAP2000/ETABS models, model data, results, file names or diagnostic logs. Logs and run reports stay on your computer (%LocalAppData%\NCSE\logs) unless you choose to e-mail them to us.

Lawful basis

Performance of the licence agreement (licence checks and administration), our legitimate interest in protecting the software against unauthorised use and abuse, your consent for the optional survey, and our legitimate interest in improving the software for the usage counts (you can object at any time by switching them off).

Where the data is stored

The licence service runs on Cloudflare Workers with a Cloudflare D1 database. Licence notification e-mails to NCSE are delivered through Resend. The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking). These providers may process data outside the UAE under their own data-protection terms.

How long we keep it

Licence, device and customer records: for the duration of the licence and up to 24 months after it ends (longer only where accounting law requires). Rejected or abandoned requests: 12 months. Survey answers and usage counts: 24 months. Rate-limit counters: 24 hours.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent for the survey, by e-mail to ncse2000@gmail.com. Deleting licence records ends the licence on that computer. You may also complain to your data-protection authority (in the UAE, under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021; in the EU/UK, your local supervisory authority).

Changes

We will publish any change on this page with a new effective date.
